If you knew
What this is doing to me
If you knew
How much I cared
If you knew
the pain, the anxiety
The worry I feel for you
If you knew
How much your words hurt me
If you knew
That I felt cut off
If you knew
That all I want to do is help you
And lessen your pain
If you knew
How much I want to talk to you
If you knew
How much I'd say if you'd let me
If you knew
That I'm going crazy here
Worrying about you.
Then would you
Let me write to you?
Then would you
Open your heart to me?
Then would you
Let me in, let me ease your pain
Heal your broken heart?
Then would you please
Think of how I feel?
Then would you please
Remember I'm hurt too?
Then would you please
Recall that this would hurt me?
My mind's going crazy over you.
Please. Talk to me. Or at least let me talk to you.

She Thought Wrong
Every day
She is pushed
She is shoved
She is ridiculed
Judged so harsh
They call her fat
Call her a loser
Call her a freak
She doesn't belong
She feels worse
Every day
Lost in thought
She makes her decision
She will no longer be hurt
She'll be gone
End her own life
She walks home so lonely
She wonders why the world
Hates her so much
No one can save her now
WHY?!
She walks into the house
She's all alone for the night
'Nobody will notice' she thought
She writes her final note to the world
'I'm so sorry. I love you, and don't blame yourself.'
She searches frantically
Finding every drug she could

Who Knew
The curtain's close, and the colors fade.
Made holes around my faith. It's the day.
My dying day. You and I no longer speak
Of dreams we've come to make.
who knew it came to this
The fires breath only seem warmer the night before.
When the shady trees came together to watch the ties
Form around our souls. For both of us to hold.
The dew drips on our moon drop pallet's.
It tickles our toes and our tenderness begins
To show. Such a fickle moment. Such a dire
Time spending on a thread about to break.
who knew it would.
We embrace and part ways, only to rise
With the sun and yet again become one.
who knew we wouldn't.
The basking

Are We Okay?
You came back to me,
So sad-
Like a little puppy-dog.
You asked me back,
Said you'd never leave me again.
You made me cry,
I love you so much...
But-
You really hurt me;
Making me feel like nothing.
I said goodbye the other night-
I think that maybe we aren't meant to be..
That true love isn't truely what's between us;
Just a little tragedy-
Of a girl whom likes to cry in the rain,
And a boy who doesn't really know anything.
He's afraid..
Of opening up-
And letting go.
He simply can't forget;
That other girl...
She broke his heart.
So, we're not okay-
We're broken silly...
But I love you muchly;
I think I always will-

A friend of mine. She told me she was going away and not to comment on anything until she came back. But she never went away, and I can't say anything, even though her poems are driving me crazy with worry.
Stay safe honey, if you're reading this. Take the time you need, but please let me know that you're safe.

This is amazing. I'm going through exactly how this poem feels...if that makes sense.
